With over 22 years of coaching, Healing-Centered program development, and consulting I provide organizations with the best integrative practices and strategies for maintaining healthy individuals in safe, equitable, productive environments while enhancing professional performance and conscious community engagement.

nationally recognized presenter on Trauma-Informed and Healing-centered care

I believe we need to focus on what's strong instead of what's wrong

I have trained thousands of helping professionals including first responders, law enforcement, attorneys, victim advocates, counselors, social workers, college students, elementary to high school educators, and city municipalities. Additionally, I provide leadership training and organizational assessment for executives in government, no-profit, academic, and corporate sectors.

My Programs

Understanding trauma is the first piece of healing. Knowing how to move from adversity to resilience is what creates sustainable change and life-long growth. We must consider all intersections of trauma; the individual, family & community.

I highly recommend Ms. Afinowich for any Organization

Robin is one of the most dynamic, inclusive and interactive speakers you will find. From the very first time I heard her speak, I have a deep respect for what she does. She is passionate about her work and saving our youth’s lives. I am in my 32nd year as an educator and my 24th year as a parent. I feel confident in knowing what is good for youth and I endorse Robin.

Robin Afinowich understands the need for resilience and trauma-informed care at such a deeply personal level, she is enabled to present the idea of professional resilience at the macrosociological level, while maintaining such an intimate connection with her audience one if left wondering if she is speaking directly to them.

Robin hosted a Rooted in Resilience workshop with Fresh Start Women's Foundation for a Mother's Day event. The serenity and wisdom she brought to the group left an air of hope in the room. It takes a certain kind of demeanor, articulation, and grace to not only captivate an audience but to also leave them wanting to take the next steps towards betterment – and Robin possesses those qualities innately.

Robin has provided multiple training sessions for my staff at my previous employer, and I plan to continue utilizing her diverse skill set with my current employer. Everyone that attended her sessions were engaged, participated, and took away something each time due to Robin’s ability to adapt to all the different work groups and mold the sessions to best fit each group.

Robin is an excellent speaker with a vast amount of knowledge in many areas. ACVS has had her speak for 2 hours up to the entire day and her sessions were always well received. As a Program Planner, what I love about Robin is her flexibility in providing the information that is most relevant to her audience. She is pleasant to work with and her sense of humor makes even the toughest subject easier.
